Wuxi Xishan already has 10 electric vehicle companies with export volumes exceeding US$10 million. In the first half of 2025, the district’s exports of two-wheeled electric vehicles reached US$350 million, a year-on-year increase of 31.9%. Looking back at the overseas expansion of Wuxi’s electric vehicle cluster industry in recent years, “collaborative market exploration” is its distinctive feature. As a major hub for the national electric vehicle industry, Xishan District established the Electric Vehicle Foreign Trade Association in 2022, organizing enterprises to participate in exhibitions and explore markets around the world, allowing companies to move beyond “going it alone.”
